I’m finally back blogging… I can’t believe it’s practically a year since last time I’ve posted anything here. And here I am with loads of ideas and a long list of post I want to write. So I have decided I shall start from something I found today while browsing in my lunch break. It’s a competition for all the fellows’ creative people. Design a t-shirt to save the orang-utans:

I have been walking a lot recently with our beautiful dog Bella. She’s so lovely. She can sense when it’s time for ‘walkies’! Below are a few of shots I took whilst walking, with Bella… obviously!

We’ve been introduced to a nice bunch of expats since we’ve arrived here in Spain. Everybody is so friendly and helpful with each other, I think it’s a great community. Our friend Emma needed a website for her new beauty salon in Pinoso. That was a great opportunity to take some shots and to bring back some creativity after I finished my website. So here below is the design of what the website looks like and here is the link: www.ambientepinoso.com, worth giving it a look and worth a visit if you pop in the beautiful inland of Spain.

You can get all sorts of treatments. I was very lucky because for my birthday my lovely mother in law (Linda, she is an artist and she exhibits her work in Ambiente and she’s also painted a wonderful mural with a beautiful angel in the shop, also shown on the background of the website);  bought me a really nice hot stone massage. What a great experience! I really recommend having one, it’s a real treat.

I have finally designed my own website! It took me a couple of years just to get around to the idea but I’ve finally made it! Let’s face it… I really didn’t have any excuses at this point! A beautiful setting…Spain… where I am living at the moment…a nice white notepad and a soft pencil with a pot full of colourful coloured pencils … just one small detail… I couldn’t get started!  It took me about three days to totally immerse myself in the design process, but when I got the mechanism rolling, I was unstoppable!

The idea came from the thousands of photos I took while travelling with my partner. I’ve just come back from an amazing year of discovering and experiencing the southern hemisphere and thank God (as my Nan would say…I survived!!)… So the Polaroid design and the use of a couple of my colourful shots did the rest. I quite enjoyed the use of Flash which I’m planning to get really good at…well… at some point… anyway… birds…little angel fishes going past, soft balloons… it’s all happening in the yellow sunny canvas of my homepage. It’s a happy, creative world…where everything could happen! Each button takes you to five main pages. About, Print Stuff, Logo, Web, Photos.  The rest is for you to discover…and comment please!! I Can’t wait to hear your opinion.
